The Massachusetts real estate market continues to defy simple narratives. While national headlines swing between doom and boom, the local picture is more nuanced, and more opportunity-rich, than most agents realize.

## Inventory Dynamics

MetroWest and the 495 corridor are seeing the most interesting inventory shifts. New construction in Franklin, Hopkinton, and Milford is creating opportunities that did not exist 18 months ago.

## Price Trends

Median prices remain elevated but the rate of appreciation is normalizing. This is healthy. The frenzied 15-20% annual gains were never sustainable. A 4-6% annual appreciation is the new baseline, still excellent for wealth building.

## Where Smart Agents Are Looking

The agents who will win in 2025 are positioning in: - \*\*First-time buyer markets\*\* with FHA-friendly inventory - \*\*Move-up communities\*\* in the $600K-$900K sweet spot - \*\*Luxury pockets\*\* in towns with top school systems

## The Opportunity
